THE FACULTY APPROVAL PROCESS

Back to the Faculty Assessment Home Page

1. The candidate submits a completed Faculty Information/Application Packet and a current resume to Faculty Recruiting.
2. Upon a favorable pre-evaluation, the candidate is notified of upcoming campus Faculty Assessment meetings. Attendance is by invitation only.
3. The candidate prepares for and participates in the Faculty Assessment Meeting.
4. The Director of Academic Affairs or the Associate Director of Academic Affairs notifies the candidate of the results of the assessment. Notification is by mail only.
5. If approved at the campus level, the candidate is notified of the Faculty Certification Workshop Series schedule and is sent the forms needed to complete his/her faculty file.
6. The candidate submits a completed Faculty Information/Application Packet and a current resume to Faculty Recruiting.
7. The candidate is granted final approval from Phoenix. Course approvals are then forwarded to the candidate from the Faculty Recruiting Department.
